Yes, this was the approach Geoff suggested back in 2001, and I think
that's the way it should be done, rather than automatically chaining them.

BTW, that should be search_algorithm, not match_method.

I suppose we might even want to allow even more complex chaining,
e.g.: synonyms->endings->accents:0.4, or even double-dipping to further
expand things in case things were missed the first time around, e.g.:
synonyms->endings->accents->synonyms->endings:0.4

Or maybe we could add an iteration count to the syntax, to get it to
repeat the whole chain.
