Thanks.  Could you please do a
    make TESTS=t_htdig check
and then send me  .../test/conf/htdig.conf.tmp ?  This test might be 
pushing  sed  to its limits of compatibility...

Thanks.  They should be deleted except when an error occurs.  I'll fix 
that.
