Hi,

I'm getting really long response times (40 seconds) when the
search_algorithm uses substring. I'm wondering if these response times
are normal or if I've got some sort of issue that's slowing things
down. Here are some statistics:

Pentium II 600 Mhz
512 MB RAM
Linux RedHat 7.3.something
htdig: 3.2.0b6
Total documents: 3826
Total words: 922844 (wow, nearly a million words...)
Total unique words: 30682

PS: to get these statistics for your machine, run htstat -c
/path/to/your/conf/file

Thanks for any replies.
