What are you expecting htsearch to return? The htdig software is 
expected to search
(the html pages on a) web site and build a database that htsearch can 
scan for text
provided by the user.

If htsearh is returning names (and contents) of html pages, it sounds 
like it's doing
the job it's supposed to do.
