PANIC: Invalid argument

In searching the archives, I've found one other person who seems to have had
the same problem I am experiencing. Unfortunately, he never got an answer
that I can find.

Hopefully someone on here can help me out.

I've compiled and installed ht:\\Dig on one of our web servers (running
FreeBSD/Apache). Everything seems to install fine, but when I execute the
"rundig" script, I get the following output:

% /usr/local/htdig/bin/rundig
DB2 problem...: PANIC: Invalid argument
DB2 problem...: /alt/htdig/db/db.docdb: write failed for page 0
htdig: Unable to open/create document database '/alt/htdig/db/db.docdb'

htmerge: Unable to open word list file '/alt/htdig/db/db.wordlist'.
  Did you index anything?
Check your config file and try running htdig again.

Bus error (core dumped)
DB2 problem...: PANIC: Invalid argument
DB2 problem...: /usr/local/htdig/db/word2root.db: write failed for page 0
DB2 problem...: unrecognized file type
Segmentation fault (core dumped)
%

It does the following if I just run htdig by itself:

% ./htdig -v
DB2 problem...: PANIC: Invalid argument
DB2 problem...: /alt/htdig/db/db.docdb: write failed for page 0
htdig: Unable to open/create document database '/alt/htdig/db/db.docdb'

There's plenty of disk space on /alt, so I doubt its that.

I've tried a lot of stuff to try to figure this out. I'd appreciate any
help. I'm running the latest stable version (3.1.6).

Thanks... Any help is definitely appreciated.
