Need help to configure dig.3.2.0b6

Hi,

I would like to use dig.3.2.0b6 only to create a Search form for a website, but there is some stuff that I don't understand at all, can you please help me?

I already extracted the files but I don't understand the nexts steps.

I need to install and configure the program on my server or first I have to do that on my computer? Do you have a guide step by step in an easy language for beginners like me?
