--wrap-attributes still _generating_ trailing blanks

As late as Aug. 2004, tidy still _generates_ useless
trailing blanks when one uses --wrap-attributes:

HTML_TIDY=/dev/null  /usr/bin/tidy -q \
--wrap-attributes yes /tmp/index.html |grep -c \ $
2

If I add -big5, this becomes 7.

Try it yourself on http://jidanni.org/index.html after stripping with
sed 's/ $//'.
