about ascii-chars

Hi,

I would like to conclude http://tidy.sf.net/bug/1082088.
Basically, "ascii-chars" is used to modify "--clean yes" and
results in downgrading some symbol to an ASCII "closest"
equivalent (see DowngradeTypography in clean.c).
The current default of ascii-char is "yes".

Possible outcomes:
#1 we leave the default as is and close the bug
#2 we change the default to "no" as 2005 browsers are better than
1998 ones and as it causes bad surprises. When done, we close
the bug.

I vote for #2. Any opinions ?

Regards,
