Re: Regarding my old mmap patch

So here it is my Unix mmap() patch (provides a big speed up with larger 
files):

It just changes the build/gmake Makefiles but other build processes might 
need patching too.

The patch is pretty self-contained and replaces the default stdio 
implementation when mmap() support is detected. A similar approach can 
probably be used for windows.
