Hi all, I got this interesting question from a person (Andy) using the tidy extension in Firefox (HTML validator). The question is that I am not sure what to do. The problem is about: <head profile="http://www.ietf.org/rfc/rfc2731.txt http://www.w3.org/2006/03/hcard"> Give: line 5 column 1 - Warning: <head> escaping malformed URI reference It is right or not ? Should the space be replaced by a %20 or not ? Or should Tidy forget to verify this particular attribute as an URL ? Since it can be a series of URLs ? The W3c spec is this one : http://www.w3.org/TR/WD-html40-970917/struct/global.html#h-8.3 If this is a real problem, I will log a bug and make a potential fix for it.
