Can I suggest that before there's any thought at all about the HTML 5 =
work that Tidy get an actual development process, and not one based in =
CVS?

I submit that if Tidy is going to be able to do any development moving =
forward, it needs to have a development process, with actual releases, =
and a version control system more modern than CVS.

The lack of releases is a huge problem for anyone wanting to use tidy in =
conjunction with other projects. I forked tidy as tidyp to get around =
this problem. http://tidyp.com/ I would love to not have to keep it =
going.

xoxo,
Andy
