Hello, i hope i interpreted the '[respond]' link on the mailing list archive page properly.

There is support for utf-8 in dslibris, albeit not fully tested, but latin character sets do work. dslibris does not support iso-8859 entities unless they are numeric, however. If your XHTML has a textual symbol eg '@tilde;' in it that doesn't work. Try -numeric when converting:

tidy -asxhtml -numeric -o out.xhtml in.xhtml

and look for '@<number>;' entities in out.xhtml. This will still be iso-8859 encoded XHTML, not UTF-8, but will still work.

I should write a description of the caveats etc with conversions...
