Need solution to avoid <BR> in XHTML.

Two <BR> tags are adding in every end of Paragraph in Xhtml. Please refer the
following heading in input and output files. 

Ex: 
Consumer Pull 

Trade Push 

Also check the following Line numbers 

Input.html : 215 (<BR> not available in end of the paragraph). 
outputXHTML.html : 1315(<BR> added) 

please help me If any one knows the solution to create XHTML as per same of
input html content.
