How to deactivate entity decoding?

it would be very nice if you could help me: I'm searching for an tidy option which keeps encoded characters like these untouched:

&#116;&#101;&#115;&#116;&#64;&#101;&#120;&#97;&#109;&#112;&#108;&#101;&#46;&#99;&#111;&#109;

Is there a switch which doesn't decode it to plaintext as it currently does: [email protected]
