Thanks to Kurt for taking the time to clarify the situation.

I've been autorized by my company to take up to half a day a week
towards any activity that would get our patches accepted upstream.
I could help. But I have no previous experience as a commiter in
an open source project.

We're open to anything, as long as there's progress towards
DOM Level 1 Core support. Maintaining our patches privately
is just not an option.

We'd of course be willing to give a bounty if the DOM functions
we need are committed. But what's the point if we already have
implemented the necessary functionality and just need to have it
accepted? We only need someone to look at our patches, and tell
us what needs to be changed/polished to get them accepted.
