Need to throw out scripts

I'm using HTTPUnit for among other things, to gather urls on my intranet. getLinks() returns an array of WebLinks which I then turn around and use to gather more links. I have two problems right now that would probably be solved with string match but I'd like to know if there's a better way. 1. I'm getting javascript addresses which throw errors (XMLHttpRequest not defined). I don't need these scripts, can I just throw them out somehow? 2. I only want to gather the url's that are a part of the user entered base url. Is there someway to throw out external urls?
