ServletUnitHttpRequest.getDateHeader() always "returns -1"?

Hello, I noticed that ServletUnitHttpRequest.getDateHeader() always "returns -1" (different than getHeader() ). Am I wrong or it must be a good reason why it is hard-coded that way?!
