Do you have control over the page? That is, could you modify it as a  
test?

This is the part that troubles me. I don't think we support the  
history object right now, and I'm really confused as to what it would  
mean to move forward in history upon receiving a page. It might well  
have nothing to do with it, but I'd be curious to know what happens if  
this part is not there.

Alternately, we could separate the issues if you disable Javascript  
processing during your request.
