Adding trace into servlet unit

Hi,

I am trying to create traces of my servlets when tested using servlet  
unit.

I was trying to merge servletunit and jdi based trace functionality or  
by using load time aspectj and tracing aspects. Before I go into this  
any deeper into this I said I better ask the experts if they have any  
insight before I waste days working on this.

What I want to be able to do is to run my tests - generating a trace  
over the servlet based application for each test. I cannot rewrite my  
application in any way to add in logging statements.

I hope this gives you a sense of what I want to do.
