Javascript features on a form

Hello everyone,

I'm currently working on testing some parts of a web application and I'm
having trouble concerning a form submission.

When clicking some buttons, some javascript function modifies the form
itself (adds some <option values="sth">asdf</option> in a <select> for
example).
So basically the javascript function modifies the DOM structure without
reloading, and I need to continue working on this new DOM...

Is httpUnit able to handle this kind of feature ?
