First of all, is this an actual problem or is it simply a warning that
can be ignored? (I assume you do not plan to use reflection on the
HttpUnit classes...?)

Secondly, if you need HttpUnit compiled with a newer compiler, just
download the sources and do so yourself.

Dear httpunit community

I would like to use HttpUnit on my android Device. Basically I wrote
program that is logging in on a https-webpage, then it fills in
automatically a from and finally the form is submitted.

If I want to use the program now on the android platform, there is a
warning first when adding the .jar or .class files to the project
library and second the program cant execute on the mobile-decive. For
every inner class there appears the warning:

[2011-09-12 14:35:14 - smsService] Dx warning: Ignoring InnerClasses
attribute for an anonymous inner class
(com.meterware.servletunit.ServletRunner$1) that doesn't come with an
associated EnclosingMethod attribute. This class was probably produced
by a
compiler that did not target the modern .class file format. The
recommended
solution is to recompile the class from source, using an up-to-date
compiler
and without specifying any "-target" type options. The consequence of
ignoring
this warning is that reflective operations on this class will
incorrectly
indicate that it is *not* an inner class.

Perhaps one could compile the httpUnit.jar in another way, that is also
works for android? Or can you help me getting this problem fixed?!

Thanks for the help
stb
