By the way, I admit that now today my messages to this list *are* almost
spam, since they're off topic.  I've been slightly ticked off by your previous
responses, and while I usually will respond publically, the other responses
have been somewhat disparaging, so I am responding publically.

It sure seemed aimed at me.  (This machine I'm on now is Solaris I think
("SunOS 5.6"), and my machines at work are mac os x..  I'm using pine on all
of them to read my mail.)
