links gpm mouse acceleration

Hello. I have some trouble with the mouse pointer when i run 'links -g -mode some_mode', in svga mode. The mouse pointer moves very fast and I couldn't find any solution to that (modifying -a or -r the gpm server has no effect). On the other side, when I use a kernel compiled with framebuffer support everything runs very smooth. There is a patch in links 2.0pre14 i think, but it refers to src/gpm.c which doesn't exist.
