In fact, the original changes (happenned in January or so, IIRC) were
rather simple and if this part of Links didn't change too much, they
should be easy to port. You'll get some stains here and there, though,
and they started disappearing only recently thanks to Jonas - the
changes done are however rather complex, IIRC. You might try that as
well, though, after you will get it working at least somehow.
