Submit ELinks to the Free Translation Project?

Of the thirty PO files bundled with ELinks 0.11.3, only nine are more
than half complete.  To attract people to complete the translations,
I propose to submit ELinks to the Free Translation Project:

AFAIK, maintainers of ELinks have not been asking contributors to
assign copyright on code or translation updates.  So I would tell
the Translation Project that ELinks is not a GNU package and we
do not require copyright disclaimers.

The Translation Project seems picky on version numbers of POT
files.  For 0.12.GIT and prereleases such as 0.12.0pre1, I think
we should use a "0.12b20070624" format.  For actual releases such
as ELinks 0.11.3, we could use "0.11.3", but it may be better to
use "0.11b20070415" as this allows us to make prereleases within
a stable branch (e.g. 0.11.4pre1) and have them sorted correctly.
Or perhaps we don't need such prereleases and the long numbers
would just confuse.

I don't know whether there would be a conflict between the people
who have been maintaining the ELinks translations now and the
teams that would hack the PO files from the Translation Project.
Personally, I am not in much contact with the Finnish team but
wouldn't mind letting them take over.
