that works for me with current lynx.  I checked this in case there was
some unexpected side-effect from the recent changes in dev.9 (but this
is of course the copy that I compiled for myself).

I was able to activate the "button", which isn't a _new_ feature.

The development version is 2.9.0dev.9 (I did notice that 2.8.9 was 3 years
old, but other programs have their own problems...).
