I am going to test this later.
Still in my lynx options menu, there is a way to change from HTTP1.0 to 
2.0.
A swift search hints that the code means  the server in question will not 
perform the desired task using the current protocol, but may if the user 
changes that protocol.
Will test before bed and report.
