no - I'd forgotten just when I added the brotli support.

I see now that I started that two months later:

2022-12-28 (2.9.0dev.11)
* changes for using brotli stream decompression -TD

The current snapshot here (2.9.2u):

"should" work.  (I have some work on an unrelated feature which I'd
like to complete for the next release -- any regressions in the snapshots
would be of interest as well).
