Hi all! Perusing the archives, I would humbly like to propose a summary rule. I enjoyed this feature & requirement for list members while subscribed to the sunmanagers mailing list. The rule is as such - If you post a problem, when you reach a resolution you post a message back to the list with subject: "SUMMARY : <problem>" for e.g. I have a problem implementing file uploads in mason. :. my original subject is may be "file upload howto - mod_perl mason." When I get it working due to the helpful input of the many subcribers.. I post a summary message detailing, my OS, build (version #) of mason and mod_perl & exactly what I did to resolve my problem -- with subject "SUMMARY : file upload howto - mod_perl mason." This system would quicken the speed of problem resolution for mason newbies digging for answers ( as the key word 'summary' can be use in searches) & reduce the reposting of the same problem again & again. Also it could assist in the creation of an efficient and helpful Mason FAQ. Of course review of summaries would also assist the Mason development team in determining what new features are pertinent & what needs improvement. regardz, ~Rudy _____________________________________________ .!@#$%&% ------- R.u.d.y--R.o.c.k.s.t.a.r----------------- ------------------------------------------------------ ----------------- -----------CELLY--XXX.984.XXXX---- -AIM:rudyrockstar- ------- ----------- --------- -ICQ:6636643-- --- -- -- --------------- -------- -YahoO:rudyrockstar- ----------- --------------------- -MSN:[email protected] ------------------------ ~~~~~~~!~!~~~~~~~~~!~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~!~~~~~~~!!!!~~~~~~~ _________________________________________________________________ Add photos to your messages with MSN 8.
