Hi All,
I'm pleased to announce the release of
MasonX::ApacheHandler::WithCallbacks 0.96. This is a fairly minor
release, but adds support for httpd.conf directives and a new module,
MasonX::CallbackTester, to help you write tests for your callback
packages and classes.
Enjoy,
David
Changes:
0.96 Sun Jun 15 22:52:25 2003
- Minor documentation corrections.
- Changed documentation to refer to the register_subclass() method
instead of the nonexistent register_instance() method, thanks to
Scott Lanning.
- Fixed failing test in t/02errors.t. Not sure how it ever passed
before.
- Added support for "MasonCbClasses" httpd.conf directive. Use
"_ALL"
instead of "ALL" to register the callback methods of all loaded
MasonX::CallbackHandler subclasses.
- Added support for httpd.conf directives for all of the
parameters to
MasonX::ApacheHandler::WithCallbacks->new.
- Added MasonX::CallbackTester to simplify testing callback
packages and
classes outside of a mod_perl environment (i.e., in standard
Test::Harness test suites).
0.95 Thu May 1 05:36:38 2003
- Changed MasonX::CallbackHandle to MasonX::CallbackHandler to
reflect its job as a subclassable callback handler.
- Added support for object-oriented callbacks. Callback classes
can
be created to inherit from MasonX::CallbackHandler. They have
their
own class keys, and the callbacks are named for the callback
methods,
which are themselves identified by attributes. This is a much
bigger
addition than it sounds like here. Read the
MasonX::CallbackHandler
documentation for all the details.
- Changed the callback execution so that the same callback class
objects
are passed to all of the relevant callbacks for a single
request.
- Many spelling errors corrected thanks to Scott Lanning.
