Oh, but that's not what you're getting at.

Um, it seems like an interesting idea, though I'm not sure how easy it
will be to do.  The problem is that Mason isn't so much about templates as
it is about providing an environment, dispatch, etc.  The template
language isn't really the core of what makes Mason interesting.

So the question is can we have all those other things and still fit into
this proposed framework?
