DSO mod_perl

Someone pointed out to me some documentation of the issue with DSO 
mod_perl in mod_perl 1.x:

First definitive answer to this perennial problem that I've seen. I 
thought perhaps the FAQ should be updated to reflect that, given the 
appropriate configuration for Perl, DSO might be all right.
