I was considering the benefit of mixing both styles, so one can easily prototype in the PHP style first, then refactor to separate the code and drawing sections further, then refactor to make the code linear, in a piecemeal way without sweeping changes. But if that is deemed too hairy, probably an embedded language (cf. Apache Cocoon's use of continuation-based FlowScript/Rhino) is the correct solution. In that case, I'll go ahead with using Language::MzScheme to replace the controller layer, then. Thanks, /Autrijus/
