Well, I was thinking it might be a subclass.  I really need to go in and
rewrite ApacheHandler & CGIHandler the way I have in mind so you can see
what I'm thinking of.  But I don't really want to see lots of branches
based on the mod_perl version.  If you can do it without that, it'd be
slick.
