I can't even imagine it being used for anything else.  I have, on
occasion, issued redirects from a shared block if a given argument wasn't
present, but doing that elsewhere is not a big deal.

And thus the name should be something like "request_args" or
"shared_args".  Personally, I prefer the latter, since it'll make it's
function very obvious to existing Mason users.

But other than arguing about the name, I'm all for it.
