Bug #539: Using 'next' or 'last' without a loop can corrupt the component stack
Sun Oct 17 Jonathan Swartz changed status from Start to Checked In
             Jonathan Swartz writes: In 1.3 this was fixed as a side-effect
               of making the request stack a dynamically scoped variable.
               Added unit test.
             Jonathan Swartz set owner to jswartz

New task #569: Add versioned subdirectory to object file directory
               The format of an object file depends on compiler options and
               the Mason version. Object files created under different
               compiler options or under different versions of Mason (e.g.
               1.2 -> 1.3) may be incompatible.

               We already place a compiler id at the top of every object
               file as a sanity check. However, if a single web server is
               switching between compilers or versions of Mason, those
               files will get repeatedly deleted and replaced unless
               different object directories are explicitly created.

               For example, Fast CGI environments can have old and new
               versions of Mason running side by side for a time if a new
               Mason is deployed and the existing processes are allowed to
               die gracefully.

               Instead of embedding the compiler id in the component file,
               add a subdirectory below obj/ named after the compiler id.
               This will allow multiple compilers/Masons to run side by
               side and eliminate the need for the compiler id check in
               Compiler::ToObject::assert_creatorship.
Wed Oct 20 Jonathan Swartz created task
             Jonathan Swartz set difficulty to 2
