New task #579: Make Mason resilient to object file write failures
Mason does not recover from an object file write failure -
e.g. only part of the file is written, or the file is
corrupted. Such things can happen if a disk temporarily runs
out of space or an nfs connection temporarily goes down, for
example.
Two things we should do:
1. Verify the contents of the object file after writing it
(either with a full comparison or a signature). If the write
failed, log a warning and delete the object file so that it
can be created the next time.
2. If an error occurs when reading an object file, or if we
get back anything other than a component object from the
eval, delete the object file and try to recreate and reload
it once before ultimately reporting the error.
