Apache2 support should be pretty stable by now.  The biggest hurdles now
are with other modules:

Apache2::Request is still in development mode, and does not come bundled
with mod_perl. (and it probably never will; wishful thinking...)
Maybe we should consider making CGI the default for Apache2?

There are reports that MasonX::Request::WithApacheSession does not support
Apache2.  MasonX::Request::WithApache2Session might have problems too,
since it was released before the big rename.  I don't use either though,
so I haven't verified the reports.

And we also have modules with names like:
  MasonX::Request::HTMLTemplate::WithApacheSession
  MasonX::Request::ExtendedCompRoot::WithApacheSession
Maybe it's time for a shiny new plugin-based session module?
