Does the resolver handle the template i/o too?  I thought it just translated
requested paths to actual paths (and somewhat painfully, at that).  I'm
thinking more along the lines of what the lowest-level Mason 2 template
engine would deal with, and it shouldn't be files or paths, IMO.
