I just launched a simple Catalyst app I'm working on that so far has only the default controller and no views or model, and it's using 30MB of RAM on my MacBook Pro (using the default Catalyst server, whatever it is). IIRC, mod_perl + Mason takes up around 2MB. Oh, and Moose, though we all know that the overhead of Moose is actively being worked on. Can't wait.
