?: how to set production mode AND Daemon

OK,

just migrating vom Mason 1.5 and Apache to Poet, Mason and PSGI.

Now I'm testing all the stuff that's involved and needs to get tackled.
One thing I'm currently trying to figure out: how to get the server to
run in daemon mode.

Switching between development and production is done in local.cfg. I'm
currently missing the syntax to be used for getting the complete stuff
to be daemonized -- it should go in production.cfg in the /conf/layer
directory, but I'm lost in the syntax.
