Sure, but first:

* Does anyone else have any other tweaks they would like to post?

* Were there any other changes to be entered to the log?

* Is the CVS list broken? Are we using the syncmail mail script?

And finally:

* I'm thinking a good strategy would be to bring out a 2.2.1 with
everything but the package renaming, and then do a 2.3.0 with only the
package renaming. Does that sound all right?

Not to mention:

* What release process are we using?

The current trend would be to roll a 2.2.1 distribution and post that
for everyone to try. Then we vote on whether to promote the 2.2.1
release from "alpha" to "beta" or "general availability". If never makes
GA, we make whatever changes are needed and try again with 2.2.2. The
idea being releases are immutable, and not every release is a final GA
release.
