There are several Java MVC frameworks available, the most popular being 
JPublish, Maverick, Struts, Tapestry, Turbine, and WebWork. The Wafer 
project lists over twenty products in this category:

For most applications, these frameworks are commodities, any one will do 
as well as the other. My best advice is to pick a representative use 
case and try coding it in a couple of these. Framework are like shoes; 
you really have to try them on to be sure. :)
