URL rewriting

Hi,

I am quite new to Maverick. I have a question about
HTTP sessions and URL rewriting.

In a plain servlet Web application, one uses
response.encodeURL() to add the session ID to URLs
used within the Web site, so that session tracking
works when cookies are disabled.

In my Maverick applications, at home and work, I have
many places where there is a hyperlink to a URL that
is a Maverick command within the application. To make
these work when cookies are disabled, I need to ensure
that these go through response.encodeURL().

I have thought of a variety of ways that this can be
achieved, but is there one best way to do it, within a
Maverick Web app?

If you disable cookies completely and try to use this
site, you will currently see that the visitor count,
for instance, goes up every time you visit a page.
This is because it fails to see that you are in the
same session.
