Re: Internationalization

So far, I did not have special reqs for internationalization, so the default
i18n support in Java works fine for me. The commons package looks allright
though; might give it a try next time. You probably read about the shunting
option in Maverick? You can do neat stuff with that as well.

Btw, the following quote is from the commons-resource site and is listed as
one of the shortcommings of the default i18n framework:

I have to say I wonder what concrete situations they had in mind... I never
had a similar req. Do you have any special stuff?

Struts has inbuilt internationalization, Maverick which is only focusing on
the MVC does not.

I had a look on the Jakarta site and elsewhere for a standard
internationalization component and notice that there is a preliminary one in
the commons - sandbox which is going to be based on the Struts
implementation.

I was wondering what other Maverick users are doing in regards to
internationalization, is there a pre made component for easily working with
i18n or have most of you rolled your own components for i18n support within
your applications.
