The process is a bit dangerous and involves a lot of nasty corner cases (a database could use different character sets for different sites), but with good backups, proper checking, and user interaction it could probably be made safe enough. > PS: The database was med using datagard, so I guess we need to look into > dg as well. I recently changed datagard (in CVS HEAD) to always create databases in UTF-8. Before that datagard has not specified the database character set.
