-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Greetings! Torben has been complaining about speed and memory consumption of PhpDoc when generating the MidCOM API docs. Here are some alternatives based on quick Googling: PHPDoctor is a Javadoc style comment parser for PHP, written with an emphasis on speed and simplicity. It is not as fully featured as other PHPDoc programs, but is simple to configure, use, and extend. http://phpdoctor.sourceforge.net/ phpdocgen is a script similar to javadoc, but designed for PHP source files. It permits to generate a set of HTML pages that contain the API documentation of the specified PHP files. http://galland.stephane.free.fr/arakhne.org/phpdocgen/ If, on the other hand, you're looking for alternatives, take a look at eZ phpdoc, a Perl-based auto-documentation utility created by the nice guys at eZ Systems ...the syntax used by eZ phpdoc is different from that used by PHPDoc. http://www.devshed.com/c/a/PHP/Writing-SelfDocumenting-PHP-Code/5/ Henri Bergius Consultant Partner, Nemein henri.bergius-ZpG/[email protected] Midgard CMS www.midgard-project.org -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.1 (Darwin) iD8DBQFD8ZmyNkT8k497k9IRArc8AJ9Y5iSYXfyvBGEAnXmbtQ/gnv9xjQCbB2Pm 4s7iqecrTdMPgmlt9Jp03ac= =+Soi -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
