staging/live approval not working

Hi, 
 
Please can someone help me, this is driving me crazy!!!!! 
 
the problem is that approval isn't working, everying (approved as 
well 
as unapproved) gets published 
 
I am using the yamp scripts, both my import and export 
repligard-conf 
file points to repligard_i18n_po.xml as otherwise I get blank pages. 
I've tried using remove_unapproved.pl, remove _unapproved_withsg.pl 
and 
remove_unapproved_withsg_i18n.pl but to no avail. 
 
My system is midgard 1.6.3 setup on suse 9.2 with the rpms.
