MidCOM problem

Hi!

I just tried to change some settings in one of my midcom (1.4.0)-driven sites 
and it seems that they cannot be saved. For example, when I try to use the 
init mechanism, all I get is: 

Failed to create midcom_site AIS topic, reason Access denied

Editing articles in Aegri works fine, the user privileges and the passwords 
for mysql have not been changed. Where could the error come from?
