installation issues

Hello,

I've run into a problem during install....
Midgard 1.6.3
Apache 2
PHP 5
Slackware Linux


 I seem to have managed to install Midgard Core, Midgard Apache Module, 
Midgard PHP Module and Midgard Data Package fine. I ran datagard and now have 
a midgard database. This is where i'm stuck. I'm not clear on how to access 
the system. I installed additional Aegir packages (which seemed to install 
fine). Is it supposed to create an Aegir sub-directory in the apache document 
root? If so their isn't one. Or am I supposed to create a soft link to the 
program index page?
